Imported Polish Warmblood Conquers the Competition in the United States

Sandy Springs, GA, USA – Dec. 01, 2020 – The Western Dressage Association of America World Championship show concluded November 15th 2020, bringing together the top Western Dressage horse and rider combinations for the penultimate competition. The show culminated in the crowning of the class winners and breed high point awards, and it was Marsha Hartford Sapp and First Impression (Bosman) who claimed the top honors in the Intro/Basic Freestyle Class with a score of 80.107%. This score also earned the pair the High Scoring Polish Warmblood Horse in the competition.

First Impression was bred by Tadeusz Puchała and registered with the Polish Horse Breeders Association as Bosman (Aron sp. – Balada wlkp / Boss wlkp) and is owned by JamieLynne Weiss and Jerry Phillips of Sandy Springs, GA, USA.

“He’s truly exceeded all of our expectations and I am delighted that he found his way to the United States,” said his owner, JamieLynne Weiss. “Polish Warmbloods are an extremely rare breed and to have one as exceptional as First Impression is truly a gift. Tadeusz Puchała bred an incredibly talented horse.”

As is common upon importation to the United States, Bosman’s name was changed to a more common English name where he is currently registered with the United States Equestrian Federation as First Impression.
