Sandy Springs, GA — The American Warmblood Society and Sporthorse Registry (AWSSR) has named First Impression, a Polish Warmblood gelding owned by JamieLynne Weiss, as the 2024 Reserve National High Point Hunter Champion.

Trained by Patchwork Farm in Canton, Georgia, and shown by Lauren Kissel, First Impression—affectionately known as “Vino”—earned consistent top placings throughout the 2024 show season. His impressive results across multiple venues and divisions earned him this national distinction, recognizing his quality, athleticism, and style in the hunter ring.

This latest honor adds to Vino’s remarkable career achievements, which include being named the 2024 National High Point Champion 3’ Green Hunter by the American Warmblood Registry. He is also a six-time Western Dressage Association of America (WDAA) World Champion and United States Dressage Federation (USDF) Reserve National All-Breed Award winner—an extraordinary record that reflects his rare versatility and exceptional temperament.

“Vino has always been the horse who gives his whole heart,” said owner JamieLynne Weiss. “To see him succeed at this level in yet another discipline is incredibly rewarding. It’s a testament to his talent, his spirit, and the incredible team that supports him every step of the way.”
