WHERE EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE
Bookerville is named after our beloved gelding, Booker, who was known and loved for his kind heart and willing attitude. By choosing equine athletes that exhibit the same willingness and strength of character, we ensure success. Our formula for success differs from other programs in that we let the horse tell us what it wants to do, meaning, we evaluate the horse's talents and determine for which discipline it is best suited. Sometimes we find the horse excels in multiple areas. This multi-disciplinary approach results in a well-rounded and versatile athlete and also prevents boredom from repetition in training.
GREEN HUNTERS
First Impression made his USEF rated hunter debut during the 2020 show season in the 3'3" Green Hunter division. Due to the impact of COVID-19 on the USEF/USHJA hunter shows, he received a Green Reinstatement and waived showing privileges for the year. He will return to the hunter ring for the 2021 season.
CLASSICAL DRESSAGE
Due to his Green Reinstatement waiver, First Impression was able to segue to Classical Dressage for the 2020 season. After competing at First Level under the expert guidance of Marsha Hartford Sapp, he was awarded a USDF Reserve Champion All-Breed Open First Level - AWSSR award. He will continue with classical dressage training in 2021.
WESTERN DRESSAGE
After a successful first year in Classical Dressage, First Impression segued into Western Dressage and made his debut at the 2020 WDAA World Show where he was crowned World Champion in the Basic/Intro Open Freestyle with his trainer Marsha Hartford Sapp. He was also the high point Polish Warmblood. He will continue with Western Dressage in 2021.
